Znany na całym świecie zawodnik jednej z czołowych drużyn futbolu amerykańskiego, Harrison Butker, wywołał ogólnoświatowy „skandal” słowami o swojej żonie. Cóż tak obraźliwego powiedział zawodnik NFL o kobiecie swojego życia, że powstała petycja, by ukarać go wydaleniem z drużyny Kansas City Chiefs?
Nie uwierzą Państwo… Oto ów „seksistowski” fragment wypowiedzi wygłoszonej podczas przemówienia w katolickim college’u w USA:
Mogę wam powiedzieć, że moja piękna żona Isabelle jako pierwsza powiedziałaby, że jej życie naprawdę zaczęło się, gdy zaczęła żyć swoim powołaniem jako żona i matka.
Jestem dziś na scenie i mogę być tym, kim jestem, ponieważ mam żonę, która opiera się na swoim powołaniu. Bóg obdarzył mnie wieloma talentami, ale nie można przecenić faktu, że cały mój sukces był możliwy dzięki temu, że dziewczyna, którą poznałem w szkole, nawróciła się, została moją żoną i przyjęła jeden z najważniejszych tytułów ze wszystkich: gospodyni domowej. W przemówieniu do absolwentów szkoły Harrison Butker skrytykował również eutanazję, „katolicką antykoncepcję”, ideologię gender, covidowe obostrzenia, a także m.in. prezydenta Bidena za popieranie aborcji.
Przemówienie cytowała prasa na całym świecie. Ruszyła lawina hejtu. Od wypowiedzi Butkera odcięła się m.in. liga NFL, a nawet siostry benedyktynki prowadzące Benedictine College.
Czy możemy milczeć? Nie! Skandaliczne potraktowanie sportowca za jego piękne, pełne wdzięczności i miłości słowa wymaga naszej reakcji.
Dlatego apelujemy: okażmy wsparcie mężczyźnie, który nie boi się mówić prawdy o powołaniu małżonków, mimo szykan i hejtu. Brońmy również wyboru milionów kobiet na całym świecie, które troskę o dom, męża i rodzinę stawiają na czele hierarchii wartości.
Dlatego bardzo Państwa prosimy o podpisanie petycji do Harrisona Butlera wyrażającej nasze uznanie i poparcie!

Szanowny Panie,
z ogromnym uznaniem przyjęliśmy Pańskie przemówienie wygłoszone w Benedictine College. Cieszę się, że sportowiec tej klasy, a przy tym idol wielu młodych mężczyzn, tak pięknie mówił o swoim powołaniu i komplementarnym z nim powołaniu swojej żony.
Z radością przyjmujemy fakt, że docenia Pan ogromną wartość domowej pracy milionów kobiet, tak deprecjonowaną we współczesnym świecie. Troska o dom i wychowanie dzieci na szlachetnych dorosłych zasługuje na najwyższe uznanie. Jednak wdzięczność wobec żony za ogrom poświęcenia godzi w feministyczne dogmaty i staje się przyczyną tyleż bezlitosnych, co bezsensownych ataków.
Hejt, którego stał się Pan obiektem, jest trudnym, ale zaszczytnym potwierdzeniem prawdziwości Pana słów i z pewnością zostanie Pan za nie nagrodzony. Przesyłamy również najserdeczniejsze wyrazy szacunku dla Pańskiej małżonki Isabell.
Proszę pamiętać, że mają Państwo w nas, Polkach i Polakach, sprzymierzeńców!

a world-famous player of one of the leading American football teams, Harrison Butker, caused a worldwide „scandal” with his words about his wife. What did an NFL player said so offensively about his wife that a petition was created to ban him from the Kansas City Chiefs?
You won’t believe it… Here is the „sexist” fragment of the statement given during a speech at a Catholic college in the USA:
I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother. I’m on the stage today and able to be the man I am because I have a wife who leans into her vocation. I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all of my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker. [Applause lasting 18 seconds]
In his speech to the school’s graduates, Harrison Butker also criticized euthanasia, „catholic contraception”, gender ideology, Covid restrictions, and, among others, President Biden for supporting abortion.
The speech was quoted in the press all over the world. An avalanche of hate began. The NFL dissociated itself from Butkers’s statement. E as well as the Benedictine sisters from Benedictine College where Buther had his speech.
Can we be silent? NO! The scandalous treatment of an athlete for his beautiful, grateful and loving words requires our response.
That’s why we appeal: let’s show support for a man who is not afraid to tell the truth about the vocation of spouses, despite harassment and hate. Let us also defend the choice of millions of women around the world who put caring for their home, husband and family at the head of the hierarchy of values.
Therefore, we would like to ask you to sign the petition to Harrison Butler expressing our appreciation and support!

Dear Harrison,
We received your speech delivered at Benedictine College with great appreciation. I am glad that a player of this class, and an idol of many young men, spoke so beautifully about his vocation and the complementary vocation of his wife.
We welcome the fact that you appreciate the enormous value of the domestic work of millions of women, which is so mocked in the modern world. Taking care of the home and raising children to become noble adults deserves the highest recognition. Unfortunately, gratitude to ones wife for her enormous sacrifice goes against feminist dogmas and becomes the cause of both merciless and senseless attacks.
The hate you have become the subject of is a difficult but honorable confirmation of the truthfulness of your words and will certainly be rewarded. We also send our warmest respects to your wife.
Please remember that you have allies in us, Poles!
